The Story

"Correctness isn't optional and latency costs money."
— Peter Ivie

My path has run from a GPS tracking startup in 2009 to privacy and compliance infrastructure at Meta serving billions of users — with payments at one of Apple's top-grossing apps, AI-enabled products, and a Fractional CTO role establishing SOC 2 compliance for a fintech company along the way. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame.

What I've noticed throughout that career: smaller organizations — nonprofits, real estate operators, growth-stage companies — often lack access to the kind of senior technology leadership that would make the biggest difference. A good fractional CTO doesn't just pick tools — they own the technology strategy, cut wasteful spend, build teams, and translate business goals into systems that actually work and keep working.

That's what I built Trustkept LLC to provide: executive-level technology leadership without the full-time cost, from someone who has done it at every scale.
